Modell: Mit Digital-Decoder mfx+ und umfangreichen Geräuschfunktionen. Geregelter Hochleistungsantrieb mit Schwungmasse, zentral eingebaut. 4 Achsen über Kardan angetrieben. Haftreifen. Fahrtrichtungsabhängig wechselndes Dreilicht-Spitzensignal und 2 rote Schlusslichter konventionell in Betrieb, digital schaltbar. Fernscheinwerfer und Führerstandbeleuchtung separat digital schaltbar. Spitzenlicht an Lokseite 2 und 1 jeweils separat digital abschaltbar. Doppel-A-Lichtfunktion. Beleuchtung mit wartungsfreien warmweißen und roten Leuchtdioden (LED). An Lokseite 2 ist eine 2-polige Kupplung im Normschacht eingesteckt, als elektrische Verbindung zum Schnellzugwagen 1 aus ICE-Schnellzugwagen-Set 42930. An Lokseite 1 ist ein normaler Kurzkupplungskopf im Normschacht eingesteckt. Länge über Puffer 21,9 cm.
Diese Lokomotive kann voll umfänglich nur in Verbindung mit dem ICE-Schnellzugwagen-Set 42930, eingesetzt werden, wegen der 2-poligen stromführenden Kupplung zwischen Lok und Wagen. Der Betrieb dieser Lokomotive mit anderen Personen- oder Güterwagen ist aus technischen Gründen nicht vorgesehen. Für den Einsatz mit Schleiferumschaltung zwischen der BR 101 und dem ICE-Schnellzugwagen-Set ist der Hinweis in der Gebrauchsanleitung zu beachten.
Zur Bildung einer vorbildgerechten 8-teiligen Zugeinheit ist für diese Elektrolokomotive Baureihe 101 ausschließlich das ICE-Schnellzugwagen-Set 42930 vorgesehen. Ab 15 Jahre. Nur für Erwachsene. The long-distance headlights and cab lighting can be controlled separately in digital operation. The headlights at no. 1 and no. 2 ends can be turned off separately in digital operation. The loco has the ?double A? light function. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. A 2-pole coupling fitted into the NEM pocket at loco end 2 serves as an electrical connection to car 1 from the ICE express train passenger car set, item 42933. A normal close coupler head is fitted into the NEM pocket at loco end 1. Length over buffers 21.9 cm / 8-5/8.
This locomotive can only be fully used in conjunction with the ICE express train passenger car set, item 42930, due to the 2-pole current-conducting coupler between the loco and car. For technical reasons, this locomotive is not designed for use with different passenger or freight cars.
