Multiplexer für Lichtsignale mit Multiplex-Technologie Dieses Modul ist mit einem integrierten Digitaldecoder ausgestattet. Der Decoder versteht die Formate Märklin-Motorola und NMRA-DCC. Das Modul ist geeignet für ein Haupt- und ein Vorsignal mit Viessmann Multiplex-Technologie, z. B. Ks-Signale Art. 4040 – 4046 und die Standard-Lichtsignale mit Multiplex-Technologie Art. 4720 – 4730. Es verfügt über den Viessmann SignalBus und den Viessmann Speed- Bus und ist ansteuerbar über die Tasten-Stellpulte Art. 5545 – 5547, über Gleiskontakte und durch digitale Schaltbefehle. Der Viessmann SpeedBus ermöglicht den komfortablen Anschluss an den Commander mit automatischer Anmeldung. Das Modul ist im gleichen Umfang ausgerüstet und konfigurierbar wie das Steuermodul für Lichtsignale ohne Multiplex-Technologie Art. 5224. Es ist blockstreckenfähig und mit dem ansteckbaren Zugbeeinflussungsrelais Art. 5228 kann es die Züge automatisch anhalten. Das kann entweder durch Ausschalten des Fahrstroms vor dem Signal erfolgen oder bei Digitalsystemen noch vorbildgerechter durch Umschalten auf das Bremsmodul Art. 5232 (für Märklin-Motorola) oder einen Bremsgenerator/ABC-Bremsung (für NMRA-DCC).
