Mächtig Druck im Kessel Die Berliner Maschinenbau AG Schwartzkopff lieferte 1936 die ersten schnellfahrenden Güterzuglokomotiven der Baureihe 41. Diese Maschinen erwiesen sich als Universal-Lokomotiven für mittelschwere Züge. Zwischen 1936 und 1941 entstanden insgesamt 366 Lokomotiven dieser Baureihe, von denen die meisten nach dem Krieg von der Deutschen Bundesbahn und der Deutschen Reichsbahn übernommen wurden.
